Terrain, Logistics Trouble For Chinese Troops In Ladakh Standoff: Intel Reports     

NEW DELHI: The nine-month-long standoff between Indian and Chinese troops in eastern Ladakh shows no signs of easing despite there being eight rounds of talks between the Corps Commanders of both sides and several meetings at the diplomatic level. India has marshalled troops that are conditioned to operate at those high altitudes and sub-zero temperatures, and has ensured that basic facilities are in place.
